Decision support in critical situations comprising complex technical, environmental and social systems is a difficult interdisciplinary research area which is based on data-driven technologies, high-performance simulation and visualization facilities.

The computational concept of urgent computing is considering computational services (or resources) as data services which work jointly in distributed environment to help decision maker choose an optimal behavior scenario in time limitations.

In 2015 Urgent Computing workshop will take place for the fourth time in the framework of International Conference on Computational Science (ICCS). We are looking forward to sharing recent advancements in theory and practice of DMS with peers around the globe and networking opportunities. We welcome you to share your expertise at our workshop in UC!

Papers

We invite you to submit manuscripts reporting original, unpublished research and recent developments or innovative practical application in the area of urgent computing technologies and decision support systems for critical situations.

The submitted papers must not exceed ten pages in length, when typeset using the Procedia format (download Latex template with instructions or MS Word template ).

At least one author of an accepted paper should register at the conference site and present the paper at the workshop.

Submit your paper now!

Procedia Computer Science

All accepted papers will be printed in the conference proceedings published by Elsevier Science in the open-access Procedia Computer Science series.
